Your Bermuda SIM Card (Digicel) will require a SIM-unlocked GSM 1900 compatible international cell phone. If you do not have your own international cell phone, we have several models available for rental or purchase.
Your Bermuda SIM card will provide you with a Bermuda cellular phone number, which can be found printed on an envelope inside your SIM card package. Your Bermuda cellular phone number will begin with 1441.

Customer service for your Bermuda Digicel prepaid SIM card is available by dialing 1 (441) 500-5611 at any time from your Bermuda cellular phone.
For emergencies while using your local Bermuda GSM SIM card in Bermuda please dial 112 from your cell phone.
*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Bermuda SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Bermuda SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
^Your phone may prompt you for a 4 digit PIN code which is on the welcome letter affixed to your Bermuda SIM card. You will be prompted for PIN1. The PUK is only required to unblock your phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.
**When calling overseas from the United States to your Bermuda cellular phone, callers will need to dial 1 (same country code as the US) followed by your Bermuda cell phone number. To call abroad from your Bermuda cell phone simply dial 00 (or the + key on your cell phone) followed by the country code and phone number.

Domestic Calls
Domestic rates are per minute for outgoing calls within Bermuda from your prepaid Digicel Bermuda SIM card while you are in Bermuda. All incoming calls, are billed at the same outgoing call rate. Calls are listed as per minute but billed per second.

Making international calls from your world cell phone has never been easier than with your prepaid Bermuda SIM card. All rates are per minute for international outgoing calls from your Bermuda prepaid SIM card within Bermuda. All incoming calls are charged at the local incoming rate.

REMEMBER: Do NOT purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! You only need a recharge voucher! Your incoming calls are always free, even when you run out of airtime.
Your SIM card is initially valid for 60 days when you arrive in Bermuda and add the voucher. Every time you add airtime you have an additional 60 days from that date. If you do not recharge your account within 2 months, your mobile phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit on your Bermuda SIM card will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. The validity period begins the day you arrive in Bermuda.
