Your Colombia SIM card (Comcel) will require a SIM-unlocked GSM 850 / 1900 compatible international cell phone. If you do not have your own international cell phone, we have several models available for rental or purchase.
You may insert the Colombia prepaid SIM card into your GSM cell phone prior to your departure to ensure that the handset is functioning properly. You will not be able to Start Calling or follow any further instructions until you arrive in Colombia.
This service requires registration BEFORE YOU TRAVEL. You will need to provide your invoice number, ICCID number, full name and passport number. Please consult our User Guide for further details.

*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Colombia SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Colombia SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the Colombia SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
**When calling overseas from the United States to your Colombia cellular phone number callers will need to dial 011 followed by the country code 57 and then your Colombia cell phone number. To call abroad from your Colombia cell phone simply dial 00444 followed by the country code, area code and phone number. For example, to call the USA you would dial 0044412133375555.

If you do not use your Colombia SIM card in 2 months (no incoming / outgoing calls) your service will automatically be terminated which means you will need to purchase another SIM card and a new number will be provisioned.
