Your Jordan SIM Card (UMNIAH) will require a SIM-unlocked GSM 1800 compatible international cell phone. If you do not have your own international cell phone, we have several models available for rental or purchase.

Your Jordan SIM card will provide you with a Jordan cellular phone number, which can be found on a sticker on the back of your SIM card. The number begins with 07.

Customer service for your Jordan prepaid SIM card is available 24 hours a day by dialing 1333 at any time from your Jordan cellular phone.

For your reference, the emergency numbers while in Jordan are: 191 for Police, 199 for Ambulance

*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Jordan SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Jordan SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.

^ Your phone will prompt you for a 4-digit PIN code, which is located on the duo-fold envelope affixed to the SIM card. The PUK is only required to unblock your phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.

**When calling overseas from the United States to your Jordan cell phone, callers will need to dial 011 followed by the country code 962 and then your Jordan cell phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero). To call abroad from your Jordan cell phone simply dial + followed by the country code and phone number.

Domestic rates are listed per minute for outgoing calls within Jordan from your prepaid Jordan SIM card while you are in Jordan. All incoming calls, regardless of where they originate, are FREE.

Peak is everyday from 8am to 6pm / Off-Peak is everyday from 6pm to 11pm / Late Nite is everyday from 11pm to 8am

International Calls

International call rates depend on the country you are trying to call to. Rates may be up to JD 2 (approx. US$2.80) per minute. To activate international calls and inquire about specific rates, please contact customer service on 1333 anytime from your mobile phone.

GPRS Data Rates (Wireless Internet)

GPRS is currently not available with your Jordan service.

Your Jordan (UMNIAH) SIM Card comes with US$9 initial airtime credit. To add airtime to your SIM card, you will need to purchase airtime vouchers which you will find available at UMNIAH shops, authorized resellers, most convenient stores, newspaper stores and petrol stations. To recharge your Jordan service, please follow these instructions.

Service Life

As long as you place a call once every month and recharge your account once every three months, your account will remain active.
