Your Kuwait SIM Card (eeZee) will require a SIM-unlocked GSM 900 / 1800 compatible international cell phone. If you do not have your own international cell phone, we have several models available for rental or purchase.

Your Kuwait SIM card will provide you with a Kuwait cellular phone number, which can be found above your card number on your SIM card package. The number begins with 7.

This service requires registration BEFORE YOU TRAVEL. You will need to provide a scan of your passport, your invoice number, filled out registration form and address. Please consult our User Guide for further details.

Customer service for your Kuwait eeZee prepaid SIM card is available 24 hours a day by dialing 107 116 at any time from your Kuwait cellular phone.

For emergencies while using your local Kuwait GSM SIM card in Kuwait please dial 112 from your cell phone.

*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Kuwait SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Kuwait SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.

^The PUK (00000000) is only required to unblock your phone if you enter a PIN code (0000) incorrectly. Your phone may or may not prompt you for a PIN code.

**When calling overseas from the United States to your Kuwait cell phone, callers will need to dial 011 followed by the country code 965 and then your Kuwait cell phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero). To call abroad from your Kuwait cell phone simply dial 00 followed by the country code and phone number.

Domestic rates are per minute for outgoing calls within Kuwait from your Kuwait SIM card while you are in Kuwait. Incoming calls are $0.08 USD per minute. Your Kuwait SIM card allows you to choose between 2 calling plans. We recommend the default Classique plan. Per minute airtime rates vary depending on which airtime voucher you purchase.

International Calls

International rates are per minute for international outgoing calls with a Kuwait SIM card, while you are in Kuwait.

Roaming Calls (calls placed when traveling outside of the country)

Roaming is currently not available with your Kuwait service.

GPRS Data Rates (Wireless Internet)

GPRS is available for your Kuwait SIM card, your Kuwait international mobile phone must be properly configured to access GPRS. The cost is a flat monthly fee of 9.5 KD. For more information on GPRS for your Kuwait international mobile phone, please call 107 to register for the service or visit any MTC branch or authorized distributor.

Adding airtime credit to your Kuwait SIM card has never been easier. When your airtime is depleted, simply purchase an airtime voucher, not another Kuwait SIM card at local tabac shops, MTC authorized dealers or convenience stores. Airtime vouchers are available in KWD 1.5 (US$5.00), KWD 3 (US$10.00), KWD 5 (US$17.00), KWD 10 (US$34.00), KWD 20 (US$68.00), KWD 30 (US$102.00). REMEMBER: Do NOT purchase another SIM card when your airtime is depleted an airtime voucher is all you need.

The validity period will depend on the amount you recharge your Kuwait service with. Please consult the table below for more details.

Once your balance is zero or you have reached the expiry date, you can only; make emergency calls; or contact customer service on 107.

Also, during this period you can receive calls from mobile phones for a further 7 days, followed by another 21 days, where you can recharge your account. After this period expires, your account will be deactivated. In case the line is not reactivated within 90 days, the company reserves the right to reclaim it.
