Your United Kingdom SIM card will provide you with a United Kingdom cellular phone number, which can be found on the back of your SIM card packaging 04.

Customer service for your prepaid United Kingdom SIM card can be contacted by dialing 5888 from your United Kingdom cellular phone (Free to IVR system, GBP 0.25 (approx. US$0.50) per call when speaking to an operator.

For emergencies while using your local United Kingdom SIM card in the UK please dial 999 from your cell phone (free of charge).

*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized UK SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the UK SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.

**When calling overseas from the United States to your UK cell phone, callers will need to dial 011 followed by the country code 44 and then your UK cell phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero). To make an international call from UK SIM card, simply enter the IDD code followed by the country code (1 for the US/Canada), area code and phone number. For example, to call (213) 337-5555 in the USA you would dial +12133375555.

Domestic Calls

Domestic rates throughout the United Kingdom are per minute for outgoing calls within the United Kingdom while you are in the United Kingdom. All incoming calls are free, regardless of where they originate.

All international calls are calls originating from the United Kingdom, while you are in the United Kingdom to international numbers outside the United Kingdom.

International SMS text messages are 15p (approx. US$0.30) per message.

Service Life

Your United Kingdom SIM card is initially valid for 90 days. If you do not place a chargeable call within these 90 days the service will be disconnected. After that a 90-day grace period applies, where you need to topup your SIM card with GBP 10 (approx. US$19.80) to reconnect your service.
